Position Summary

 

We are seeking an aggressive, smart candidate to lead our world-class Marketing Database team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing database strategy, including contact and account acquisition, data hygiene, and analysis on data quality and database health (SalesForce)
  • Segment and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting
  • Collaborate and strategize with Rimini Street’s Demand Generation & Event team to maximize efficiency and ROI on campaigns and events
  • Build strategic partnership with Rimini Street’s Sales Development, Campaign and Event team to optimize processes and increase overall lead volume
  • Evaluate and implement third party solutions to increase accessibility and usability of data
  • Lead, grow and train Rimini Street’s world class Data Management Team
  • Improve data quality results by determining system improvements; identifying trends; evaluating, and re-designing work processes; implementing changes
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and data investigation/discovery to identify and/or explain business and marketing trends or anomalies
  • Identify areas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our CRM tool and data sources
  • Works to create a culture of continuous improvement

  • Las Vegas, NV

Education

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Strong expertise in building out an existing Marketing database
  • Minimum of 5 years managing experience
  • Extensive experience with SalesForce.com in combination with Marketo (or other marketing automation system)
  • The ability to form and communicate a strong point of view on a data approach based on usability and data integrity
  • Strong relationship or experience with selecting third party vendors to support data integrity initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive tasks, adapt quickly to last minute changes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to define, document and manage processes and systems
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
