Position Summary

 

As the Marketing Analytics Manager, you will help deliver insights to support the growth objectives of our fast growing business. We are looking for someone who takes pride in understanding the business and has a natural curiosity to mine data and identifying actionable insights that will help drive quantifiable business outcomes. You will also be instrumental in the adoption of a new business intelligence solution and help support the marketing organization to measure, improve and predict the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage advanced marketing analytic capabilities for Rimini Street’s marketing organization including automated data collection, data normalization, and standardization policies
  • Develop analytics, dashboards, ROI analyses, and other reports and presentations to communicate effectiveness of Rimini Street’s marketing initiatives and actively drive process change to further optimize our marketing programs
  • Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets to measure marketing impact to the business
  • Maintain data consistence across multiple data sources to ensure data validity and accuracy through monitoring and quality checks
  • Create frameworks, models, tools and process to provide analysis to all functions within marketing
  • Benchmark the organization’s current marketing activities, performance and investment against industry best practices and partner with marketing teams to make the appropriate changes for program optimization
  • Collaborate with marketers to ensure alignment on project prioritization, actionability of insights and analytical/technical best practices
  • Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced,  intense, results-oriented environment

 

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Location

  • Pleasanton, CA

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Analytics, or other highly quantitative field (Master's degree preferred)

 

Experience

  • 4+ years professional experience in analytics or other quantitative disciplines. Some financial services or consulting experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools i.e. Tableau and QlikView
  • Experience in use of SQL and SAS, or other relevant tools for data-mining, such as R or Python is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate in both written and verbal form to senior leadership. To be successful in this capacity, you should be able to communicate complex ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
