    Position Summary

     

    Rimini Street is looking for a Sr. Manager, Marketing Technology to manage the marketing technology portfolio, including the selection, implementation, integration, maintenance and adoption and to manage a team of Marketing Automation experts that execute our global email campaigns.

     

    This position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations.

     

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead Rimini Street’s marketing infrastructure deployment and integration, including outlining technology roles and responsibilities
    • Support marketing leaders and staff by delivering capabilities with current technology and recommending new solutions
    • Lead the documentation of the marketing systems architecture, the assessment of marketing systems and the development of a strategic technology roadmap.
    • Lead our team of Marketo campaign managers and drive execution of email campaigns
    • Be the Marketo expert and manage the roll out of marketing automation templates, nurturing model, and email segmentation strategy with the ultimate goal of increasing engagement, retention and conversion.
    • Optimize lead scoring and distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales development and sales for qualification and for increasing efficiencies and conversion rates.
    • Design and optimize key workflows in Rimini Street’s Marketing systems and processes between marketing and SDRs / Sales to maximize flows and conversions.
    • Promote the adoption and utilization of the organization’s current technology
    • Prioritize, sequence and manage implementation and enhancement projects according to resource availability and timelines
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet changing marketing and business priorities
    • Contribute to process and data governance initiatives to ensure technology management complies with key governance standards
    • Leverage marketing performance data to provide infrastructure consulting to marketing leaders

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Education

    • BA or BS required, preferably in computer science or information technology

     

    Experience

    • 5-7 years of marketing technology experience Implementing and managing marketing systems
    • Deep understanding of marketing technology (e.g. MAP, SFA, CMS) and Web, advertising and e-commerce systems
    • Experience serving, collaborating with and influencing executive and marketing management
    • Experience leading, managing and coaching teams
    • IT project management experience, including the rollout of related applications (e.g. MAP, MRM, SFA) to sales and marketing audiences, is desirable
    • Successful track record of delivering technology solutions on time, on budget and able to deliver results
    • Understanding of sales cycles and lead management process
    • Strong experience developing user training and enablement

     

    Skills

    • Advanced knowledge in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred), and other marketing applications (e.g. email & cadence, CTI, gamification, predictive and others)
    • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and an ability to translate business goals into operational requirements; subject matter expert on data flow between CRM and marketing automation and analytics systems
    • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive tasks, adapt quickly to last minute changes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to define, document and manage processes and systems
    • Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills
    • Working with diverse skill sets (from technical to strategic resources)
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

     

    Desired Qualification:

    • Process improvement and project management methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional)
    • Project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
