Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the Marketing Automation Campaigns Manager will be responsible for Rimini Street’s Marketo automation programs and play a vital role in all aspects of the Company’s demand generation campaigns and lead nurturing strategy. 

In this position, you will take a key role in planning, executing, integrating, maintaining, reporting and optimizing marketing automation programs designed to intelligently capture, nurture and convert prospects through an aggressive B2B closed loop sales cycle. In addition, you will support demand generation online execution utilizing a mix of email, database marketing, online media, social media, direct mail, webinar and event-based campaigns, to support the company’s lead generation efforts.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with global marketing managers to develop Marketo marketing templates, lead scoring strategies, nurture strategies, and email marketing programs with the ultimate goal of increasing response rates, engagement, and driving measureable pipeline.
  • Design and execute global email campaigns utilizing Marketo and CRM systems as needed
  • Strategize, develop, and optimize lead nurturing programs in all phases of customer buying cycles
  • Testing recommendations and monitor campaigns to continuously optimize performance based on industry best practices
  • Develop and produce email metrics and campaign ROI, performance and dashboards for management reporting
  • Monitor and improve lead and opportunity information to produce accurate lead conversion metrics
  • Manage and execute online programs including webinars, email and newsletter sponsorships, web banners and keyword advertising, content syndication, events promotion.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including sales development, events, creative, client care and product teams to assure campaigns meet business objectives
  • Own and manage the demand gen email calendar to maximize deliverability and minimize list fatigue
  • Work closely with marketing operations team on email and marketing automation-related operational and technical issues, including data segmentation, spam compliance, lead scoring, lead nurturing and account based marketing


Minimal Qualifications



  • Pleasanton, California



  • BA/BS degree required



  • 4-6 years of related experience required, preferably in marketing automation, email marketing or lead generation/management for a B2B software/technology company
  • Advanced Marketo marketing automation experience required. Marketo Certified Expert is ideal.
  • Understanding and experience in B2B lead to sales process and buying stages with a process-based approach to lead management
  • Have experience working with HTML and understanding of email best practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and Salesforce CRM
  • Metrics driven and results oriented with demonstrated analytical skills
  • A self-starter who is attention to detail, exceptionally organized, and strong follow through capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under deadlines
  • Excellent team player with strong project management and communication skills
