Position Summary


Rimini Street is seeking a driven candidate for the role of Business Analyst to work with Support and Development teams and provide analysis and design of the enhancements related to various products including Salesforce, JIRA and Sharepoint.


The role of the Business Analyst requires the functional and technical expertise and skills to diagnose serious system/business issues, document and design solution approach, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly-configured environments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researching, analyzing and documenting the issues and enhancements requested / reported by global support/operations teams and clients
  • Testing, planning and project managing the delivery of product releases and enhancements
  • Work closely with Support, Operations and Development teams on a daily basis to understand the customer needs and analyze them when a software enhancement is needed
  • Document the business requirements and solution design for the reported enhancement requests
  • Planning and coordination of delivery for the reported enhancements and fixes
  • Manage multiple delivery of multiple solutions and documents related to multiple stakeholders and clients
  • Be a pro-active contributor to a support and operations organization
  • Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the departmental and client experience


Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field, such as, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Statistics preferred



  • 3+ years of overall experience
  • Previous experience working with analytics and the ability to break down data for analysis and demonstration
  • Previous experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Previous experience working within an Agile environment a plus
  • Previous experience working with JIRA
  • Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple software products
  • Demonstrable history of using Microsoft products such as Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with full product lifecycle activities including requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
  • Attention to detail, organized with clear documentation, and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure situations, while problem solving and effectively multi-tasking to arrive at the correct resolutions



  • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionality, tables and relationships
  • Ability to use various tools to analyze the data and functionalities
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
  • Extreme focus on Client satisfaction
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations
  • The ability to work remotely from a home based office in a virtual environment
