Rimini Street, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMNI), a global provider of enterprise software support products and services, seeks a Sr. Sales Development Representative resident in our São Paulo, Brazil office. This is not a remote role.

Position Summary

 

The primary role of the Sales Development Representative is to provide support to Sales Account Executives through outbound qualification of leads.  This position places outbound calls to companies to introduce Rimini Street support services for enterprise software.  Inbound calls and emails from customers and prospects will also occur.  This is a quota bearing position of qualified leads delivered and conversion of those qualified leads into closed business.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be a senior member and role-model in the lead gen team. Showcase strategic prospecting skills, best practices and effective utilization of time
  • Be successful in opening new business for assigned territory and meeting targets established by the company
  • Be a value-add partner to the sales team by nurturing relationships set appointments with target prospects
  • Participate in trade shows and networking events to build relationships with prospects. Follow-up with participants in Rimini Street marketing campaigns
  • Articulate the Rimini Street value proposition and negotiate initial objections as part of scheduling appointments
  • Understand and learn RSI messaging, value proposition and objection handling
  • Be independent and reliable, have a good work ethic, participate in team meetings, suggest process improvements, creatively think of solutions and areas of improvements
  • Participate in on-boarding, training junior reps, interviewing process, process refinements and best practice development

  • Proven track record at achieving measurable goals (number of appointments, lead quality, etc.)
  • Experience in generating executive level leads for Enterprise Company
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in dynamic environment
  • Ability to speak articulately and credibly
  • Experience in inside sales
  • Knowledge and experience working with a salesforce.com, Discover.org, One Source, InsideView and LinkedIn
  • Self-directed and team oriented work habits
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail)

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Minimal Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3 + year of successful inside sales and/or lead generation experience in high-tech, services, or enterprise software industries with a track record of quota attainment
  • Good understanding of Enterprise software, SaaS, IT infrastructure is required
  • Excellent knowledge of inside sales, business development, lead generation best practices and principles
  • A hunter with an ability to build rapport and hold conversation with C level executives and senior IT and procurement prospects
  • Experience and confidence in prospecting and communicating with senior-level executives
  • Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive
  • Confident and polished phone and email prospecting skills within companies of all sizes

Education

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience

  • 2 - 5 years sales development/lead qualification/telesales/inside sales or related experience in a B2B outbound IT Industry environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding and proven success of Salesforce
  • Strong understanding and proven success with SDR technology tool stack
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven ability in planning and execution of a SDR territory and goal
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and industry terms is required
  • Excellent knowledge of sales development, lead generation practices and principles
  • Strong cold calling and hunting, objection handling, and qualification skills
  • Experience and confidence in prospecting and communicating with senior-level executives
  • Must to be assertive and persuasive without being over aggressive
  • Must exude confidence and passion while prospecting over the phone
  • Strong time management and organizational skills required
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and listening
  • Ability to work in a team-goal oriented environment, and track record of strong performance
  • Knowledge of ERP, CRM IT Service solutions and Oracle Data Base technology
  • Ability to learn quickly and strategically execute plans
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, email and use of the Internet
