Position Summary

 

This individual will be responsible for designing, planning, organizing, overseeing and evaluating the development and delivery of high-quality training materials and continuing education programs for Rimini’s Sales Development teams. This role directly impacts revenue by ensuring that Sales Development teams are properly trained to effectively drive quality opportunities into our sales pipeline.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, manage, and lead the successful implementation and execution of the sales development enablement programs.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation and Operations stakeholders to ensure a consistent methodology and alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Improve ramp time to full productivity of new Sales Development hires by providing the training and tools essential for success.
  • Act as champion across the business to ensure that the right programs, tools and content are developed to support sales.
  • Implement and manage on-going feedback with the Sales and Sales Development Team to drive continuous improvement of the materials and performance.
  • Create new and maintain existing messaging library to determine opportunities to improve the learning experience, ensure the content is current and relevant and best technology is employed.
  • Design and implement metrics to measure training programs and impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Education 

  • College degree required 

Location

  • Pleasanton, California or Chicago, Illinois

 

Experience 

  • Minimum 3+ years of Sales/Marketing Enablement leadership, Field Sales training or Sales/Marketing Enablement experience with increasing influence and responsibility.

Skills 

  • Strategic thinker that can take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions and measureable metrics and then execute those plans.
  • Advanced skills in Salesforce.com, CTI solutions, and marketing technology applications required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proven ability to teach, coach or train Sales and Marketing professionals
  • A fast-thinking, high-energy individual with the ability to work with a wide range of personalities
