Position Summary

 

The Sr. Sales Operation Analyst is responsible for supporting sales renewals functions of a rapidly expanding global sales organization.  The successful candidate will be a hands-on, roll-up your sleeves individual that has a very strong work ethic, is well organized, analytically skilled, a strategic thinker, detailed oriented and quality minded. 

 

With a constant focus on process improvement, Renewal sales execution and operational efficiencies, specific areas of responsibility include: 

  • Sales Renewal Tools & Best Practices
  • Sales Renewal Analytics & Reporting
  • Sales Renewal Compensation Plans  
  • As a part of the Sales Operations team, you will be involved in all reporting and analytics relating to the entire Sales organization. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain weekly reports, analysis, and forecast packs for renewal sales management
  • Play a key roll in the weekly Accounting Invoice to Sales Renewal sync up
  • Conduct analysis to determine and maintain key metrics and trends for renewal sales purposes
  • Work with renewal sales management and other sales ops team members to jointly develop and implement process/policies
  • Participate in the evaluation and management of tools for the renewal sales team to improve productivity and success
  • Support ad hoc requests from renewal sales team
  • Provide support to Senior Sales management team

 

Additional Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist entire Sales Operation team in supporting the Global Sales team as needed 

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Minimal Qualifications

  

Education

  • College degree in finance, accounting, business or related field (Graduate degree preferred)

Location

  • Pleasanton, CA 

 

Experience  

  • Minimum 8+ years of sales operations with a focus on renewal sales or renewal sales finance related experience
  • Detailed understanding of sales renewal processes, sales renewal reporting and key metrics

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products with particularly strong Excel capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce.com 

  

Skills  

  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
  • Meticulous in detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collect and analyze ambiguous data, and translate into business insights

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.com
  • Strong aptitude for other Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Qlik, amongst other tools)
  • Self-motivated, deadline driven, and able to work independently or in a collaborative environment
  • Highly responsive, culturally sensitive, able to support worldwide operations in a 24x7 environment
  • Very strong work ethic and team player with a positive “do what it takes” attitude
