Position Summary

 

The Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for reviewing global accounts payable vendor invoices and expense reports.  The Accounts Payable Lead will also contribute to larger goals and objectives by working closely with the Accounts Payable Manager & Finance team, as well as the broader organization.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify vendor invoices for 3rd party accounting firms through Readsoft
  • Liaison between vendors, internal personnel and 3rd party accounting firms
  • Review and approve US invoices for correct indexing, coding and workflow
  • Review and approve employee expense reimbursements in accordance with Company reimbursement guidelines
  • Communicate with vendors/employees to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Review new vendor onboarding documents and ensure the vendor has been set up correctly in the ERP
  • Assist in reviewing and preparing yearly 1099 and 1042 reporting
  • Provide training and coaching for internal and external team members in regards to invoices and expense reports

 

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform special projects or ad hoc analyses, as required
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Minimal Qualifications  

 


Location

  • Remote, must be located on the West Coast

  

Education

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, or related field preferred but not required

 

Experience  

  • 3+ years progressively responsible accounts payable and general accounting experience in mid-large company
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with ERP and related systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, Concur and Readsoft, are a plus)

  

Skills  

  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Accurate audit and reviewing skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with ability to communicate with internal and external customers regarding all A/P matters
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, and v-look up
  • Preform vendor and account reconciliations

 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work remote with occasional travel
  • Self-starter
  • Knowledge of Concur Travel & Expense Systems
  • Bi-lingual in one or more of the following languages is a plus but not required. Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese
