Position Summary


The Business Continuity & Physical Security Manager will have a thorough understanding of all areas of the business operations, including organizations, domains, physical and virtual locations, to identify/foresee any interruptions and help the company put policies in practice to avoid them. Additionally the Manager will evaluate, propose, and evolve existing plans, to keep company functioning after disruptive events from disasters, crime, terrorism, malicious attacks, and human error.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Development, documentation and testing of business continuity plans and processes. Ensure that plans are developed and updated to maintain and/or restore business processes within required recovery time objectives
  • Lead business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis. Provide consultation, guidance, and oversight to assist business units in identifying and quantifying potential impacts resulting from disruptions and disasters
  • Provide response support and expertise during live events
  • Develop, enhance, and communicate information on continuity processes, standards, and initiatives
  • Lead development and delivery of business continuity training
  • Coordinate BCP testing with the business, IT, and vendors. Develop scenarios to conduct periodic testing, reporting on results as appropriate
  • Conducts physical security surveys and assessments, prepare reports identifying recommendations for improvement as appropriate
  • Management and administration of centralized monitoring and access management
  • Expertise of physical security measures including, but not limited to access control systems, CCTV systems et al to ensure physical safety and security of facilities
  • Project lead and/or support in the design and implementation of secure facilities and operations


Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide after hours and weekend support where required 
  • Some traveling to other offices maybe required



Minimal Qualifications  

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in continuity management and physical security


  • Las Vegas, NV



  • BS in relevant discipline



  • Experience with building, maintaining, and testing Business Continuity plans
  • Experience with performing business impact analysis and developing recovery time objectives
  • Knowledge of BCP best practices
  • Experience with crisis and/or incident management. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of access control and CCTV




  • Strong working knowledge of security technology and the deployment of security devices and measures
  • Strong understanding of threat assessment methodologies and risk mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of security regulations and compliance standards
  • Security procedures and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across multiple levels and functions
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to travel to domestic and international locations


Desired Qualifications

  • Industry standard certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) are desired
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PCP) preferred
