    We actively seek a Sr. Client Marketing and Advocacy Manager resident at our Pleasanton, CA office (preferred) or Chicago, IL or Las Vegas, NV location.

    Position Summary 

     

    Our ideal candidate will own all aspects of the global advocacy program, including running regional and global client programs, growing engagement of community members and developing a strong portfolio of global client advocates that help strengthen our market position, accelerate the sales cycle, inspire existing clients and support marketing and PR activities.

     

    You will have the opportunity to:

    • Develop a comprehensive list of reference clients that can be used externally to support the sales cycle for both prospect and existing clients, marketing activities, PR, analyst relations, and strategic partnerships with our partner ecosystem
    • Grow the Rimini Street client community through virtual and onsite client connections. Promotion of greater engagement
    • Build a strong portfolio of client success stories and content to be used to create reference material, including written case studies, video, eBooks and other sales enablement material

    This position reports to the Director of Client Marketing

     

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

     

    • Produce a pipeline and delivery plan for fulfilling advocacy needs in line with stakeholder requirements and Rimini Street go to market plans
    • Manage programs with emphasis on engaging clients in the community and growing community membership online
    • Drive user group collaboration and participation across the regions including coordination of key stakeholders to represent Rimini Street
    • Develop and manage client-facing communications (ie. Welcome guides, newsletter)
    • Develop a formal client satisfaction program to address detractors, identify advocates and further deepen relationships
    • Secure appropriate clients to support sales opportunities, press, events, speaking opportunities, case studies, videos and other marketing initiatives
    • Lead the creation and promotion plan of client advocacy assets
    • Conduct periodic assessments of the current state of client advocacy within the organization to identify critical gaps and develop a plan to address them
    • Evangelize the value of client advocates internally; including articulating stories and available assets and events, and providing advocate contributions to the executive level
    • Cultivate effective cross-functional relationships (ie. Product Marketing, Client Success, Reference Team, Corporate Marketing) to ensure engagement with the new advocates and their stories
    • Provide ongoing client success updates to process documentation and client data sources: Fortune client lists, client quotes, client slides, assets inventory, etc.

     

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Education

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

     

    Experience

    • At least 8-10 years marketing experience, ideally in customer marketing, advocacy or reference manager role, preferably within enterprise software or B2B organization
    • Experience in establishing strong working relationships both internally and externally, quickly establishing trust and credibility, particularly with senior executives in large strategic customer accounts
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects under competing deadlines

      

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Computer application proficiency (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Experience using applications such as Salesforce.com, RO Innovation, Marketo
    • Excellent verbal communication, writing and editing skills
    • High level of self-motivation with accountability and confidence to work both independently across marketing and other cross-functional teams across the globe
    • Adaptability and flexibility to change as the nature of our work and assignments evolve to meet changing business needs and deadlines for our clients
    • Ability to present creative ideas in a concise, professional manner
