Position Summary

 

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations, the Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for all of Rimini Street’s marketing automation programs and play a vital role in all aspects of the Company’s marketing campaigns and lead nurturing strategy as well as our marketing tech stack integration. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the marketing automation expert and drive development, implementation and roll out of landing pages and forms, marketing templates, behavior scoring models, nurture, and email marketing campaigns with the ultimate goal of increasing engagement, retention and conversion
  • Test and monitor campaigns to continuously optimize performance based on industry best practices and be the subject matter expert on email deliverability
  • Manage audiences to optimize engagement through segmentation, size, frequency and other recommendations based in industry best practices
  • Enhance existing marketing technology stack, assure process flow and work with extended teams like sales, IT, client engagement etc on flawless integration
  • Lead marketing technology improvement and integration processes
  • Develop comprehensive account based marketing strategies and plans using automation technologies
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all email operational related issues and marketing automation
  • Guide marketing database team to improve list segmentation and list quality. Must have knowledge of Merge and purge process, bounces and suppression handling
  • Develop and produce email metrics and campaign ROI, performance and dashboards for management reporting

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Marketo certification (or equivalent experience), Salesforce certification is a plus

 

Location

  • Pleasanton, CA or Chicago, IL

 

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience managing email campaigns and program implementation in Marketo, preferable in a marketing automation leadership role
  • Experience managing projects of varying complexity; time management and project management are critical skills

Skills

  • Ability to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams; global leadership/influence
  • Have experience working with HTML to support template design
  • Preferably experienced in account-based marketing techniques
  • Deep understanding of marketing technology landscape and best practices
