    Position Summary


    The Sr. HR Manger provides support to internal clients; supporting key business initiatives and ensuring maximum organizational effectiveness.  This individual will also collaborate with the global HR team to develop, implement, and maintain human resources policies and programs in our locations. The Sr. HR Manager will be responsible for full-service client support and strategic advisory for assigned client groups.    The ideal candidate has a process oriented, get it done attitude that will work closely with the management team as well as the employees and our global HR team.  Rimini Street is a rapid growing company with a rapid growing HR group.   The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify improvements and manage projects to implement new solutions and processes within the department. Experience supporting a high volume, strategic Sales and Marketing organization a plus.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Manage overall HR programs, processes and policies for local (US) client groups
    • Manage employee relations within client group
    • Manage strategic HR partnerships with assigned client group leaders
    • Collaborate with global HR team on department goals and objectives
    • Colloborate with HR regional partners on client group initiatives
    • Maintain compliance requirements
    • Perform other HR duties as required and assigned



    • BA/BS preferred – or equivalent experience


    • Pleasanton, CA or Chicago, IL


    • A minimum of 7 years HR Management experience required
    • Software industry experience preferred
    • Experience supporting sales and marketing organizations
    • Strong background and demonstrated skills in understanding of Human Resource concepts and employment law


    • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of business unit functions, operations and strategic objectives and goals – from an HR and business organization perspective
    • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
    • Overall cross functional HR background in a start-up environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to respond rapidly and independently to requests, to quickly discern relevant facts and develop and implement creative solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects  
    • Track record of providing outstanding and unparalleled customer service is key
    • Ability to work with minimal direction and work independently yet is collaborative within our HR organization

    Desired Qualifications/Skills/Experience 

    • Ability to effectively respond to changing and often at times ambiguous situations
    • Flexibility, roll-up your sleeves, and a can-do attitude
    • Experience in HRIS upgrades
