Position Summary


Reporting to the VP of Finance Operations, this individual will manage the Global Corporate Travel program which includes oversight of all aspects of corporate travel and policy (commercial air, rail, hotel/ground transportation, and other travel logistics) on a global basis. Work with internal administrative staff to understand the travel requirements and facilitate the negotiation process to secure preferred corporate rates. Act as liaison between all business units and vendors to coordinate special group service requests or seek compensation for deficient service.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and administer Global Travel Policy with consideration for regional differences and cross functional coordination as needed.   Continue to refine the Corporate Travel program as needed.
  • Champion the Corporate Travel program and the usage of the Company’s travel booking tool, emphasizing industry best-practices and emerging tools / technologies
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on the planning and execution of any travel aspects of large and small scale meetings and events, such as annual Sales Kickoff meetings, Global Services Delivery conferences, sales training, and marketing events around the world
  • Owner of the Company’s travel booking tool in Concur, oversee rollout to new markets and ensure controls are well-designed and operating effectively
  • Build strong working relationships with our Travel Management Company and internal functional departments
  • Create and manage data metrics to track supplier performance and cost effectiveness of travel programs; analyze and report on business performance relative to peers and best-in-class practices. Seek avenues to enhance cost savings and efficiencies
  • Assist in the audit of travel expenses submitted by employees for reimbursement
  • Lead the selection process of preferred vendor programs - negotiate directly with vendors to renew contracts and participate in the selection process for new regions / vendors
  • Monitor the travel budget and ensure travel and accommodations are within the approved budget and in accordance with business policy
  • Assist executives and employees with booking travel arrangements and issue resolution
  • Ensure that the Company and its employees get full credit for any travel or other loyalty programs
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations for consultants and vendors using the Company’s travel booking tool, by working closely with project managers, department heads or their designee
  • This role may require occasional travel

Minimal Qualifications  



  • Rimini Street, Inc. US office (Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago)



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent




  • 7+ years of experience managing an internal corporate travel program or related corporate travel industry experience is required
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the workings of Airline, Hotel and other travel programs
  • Familiarity and experience with Global Distribution Systems and online booking tools;
  • A focus on customer service to enhance individual travel experiences, both business and leisure
  • Familiarity and/or experience with Concur is essential 



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proven ability to present information to all levels of personnel including corporate executives 
  • Fundamental analytical skills to evaluate proposals, contracts and budgeting needs
  • Ability to think strategically, effectively manage change and work well in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
  • Solid understanding of basic financial and accounting principles is needed
  • High degree of responsibility, initiative and professionalism
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Process- and detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce
