    Position Summary

    Rimini Street is seeking an aggressive, smart candidate for the marketing associate position to be based in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia. This professional will be responsible for data management and supporting marketing programs and activities to build awareness, create interest and generate leads for Rimini Street’s services in APAC. This position will work with other functional teams as well as supporting the administration tasks of the APAC team.


    This position will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific and is ideal for those looking to gain first-class marketing strategy, events and digital communication skills with the view to developing their career in this space.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research and maintain the accuracy of prospect/client accounts and contacts data for Asia Pacific
    • Manage data by updating research findings in our salesforce.com database
    • Process event and campaign leads, data/list preparation and clean-ups as necessary – eg. email/direct mail opt outs, bounces 
    • Support the execution of all marketing programs including managing timelines and deliverables
    • Assist in the execution of events and conference sponsorships, including event logistics, staff hotel and travel, printing and shipping, vendor sourcing, etc.
    • Maintain calendar of events and deadlines
    • Collect post-event leads and feedback from onsite team
    • Review and maintain event costs, ensure proper payments made by accounting
    • Facilitate and track lead distribution and follow up activities with the SDRs and sales team

    Additional Duties and responsibilities:

    • (Other job related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time)
    • Adhoc one-off projects and assignments eg. Targeted territory data clean-ups
    • Lists, segments and post-campaigns segmentation and management



    • University or college degree must



    • At least 2-3 years B2B marketing experience in the IT industry 



    • Strong planning and detail orientation. Highly organized and efficient
    • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written in English. A second Asian language skill will be highly regarded
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast pace, deadline-driven environment
    • Ability to work independently with mild supervision
    • You have great interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
    • You are comfortable with a process driven approach
    • Professional approach towards everything that you do, and you thrive on challenges with a positive attitude

     Desired Qualifications

    • You are comfortable and savvy with Microsoft Office and Excel and Powerpoint
    • Good awareness of using the Internet as well as online search tools (eg. Google, Yahoo and LinkedIn etc.) a plus
