    This position will be responsible for overseeing the planning, management and execution of marketing events to ensure Rimini Street captures the maximum ROI. This candidate will provide onsite support as well as drive pre-show promotion and post-show activities. This position can see the big picture, but is equally comfortable tending to the details. The position requires superior organization, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as being able to manage resources and budgets effectively and creatively. This position will communicate and collaborate with North America sales teams, and also work with entire corporate marketing team to drive successful events.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities


    • Research and obtain info on event sponsorship opportunities
    • Strategize and drive the annual event plan and staffing
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide event recommendation
    • Manage day-to-day relationships and activities w/external vendors
    • Establish or maintain calendar of events and deadlines
    • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
    • Plan, manage all pre-onsite, and post-show planning and execution
    • Work with design and demand gen team to produce promotion material including emails and direct mails
    • Manage show logistics including signage and fixtures, booth set-up and tear down, show services, shipping, etc.
    • Communicate effectively with all appropriate groups regarding events details, promotion, and deliverables
    • Prepare and equip event staff with best practices and tools to maximize returns
    • Liaise with exhibitor services for staff related info, hotels, travel, registration, catering needs
    • Interface and manage all outside vendors and suppliers related to event needs
    • Develop post-event reports and analysis to determine effectiveness of events
    • Ensure trade show leads are properly processed and follow-up by lead gen and sales teams
    • Provide post event analysis, budget recaps and internal feedback, including areas for improvement back to internal teams
    • Drive proactive program improvements across all events.

    Additional Duties & Responsibilities

    • Maintain event accounting and coordinate vendor payments
    • Process all contracts through legal with manager review and approval
    • Willing to travel to events and tradeshows, as needed



    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field




    • 5-7 years of event management experience

    • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Indesign is a plus
