    Position Summary

     

    Ensure quality compliance across all business units, collaborate with business units on development and management of required documentation, identify root cause and corrective actions, and ensure corporate training needs are met. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a “whatever it takes” mindset. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Compliance Frameworks and part of the Global Audit and Compliance organization.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop, monitor and meet, department and individual goals and objectives
    • Provide direction to partner management to establish, implement, and maintain policies and procedures designed to ensure compliance with all necessary and appropriate management system standards
    • Work with business units to align metrics and annual priorities and goals
    • Analyze business metrics to identify trends or issues, and present/review with appropriate department management
    • Prepare Management Review Meeting presentations and ensure meeting outputs are complete
    • Manage and mentor personnel in support and administration of Document Control, Training Management, Audit and CAPA systems
    • Develop new process or capability as needed to meet needs of growing organization, e.g., Document Control, Training Management, Audit and CAPA System
    • Assure organization is trained on Management System requirements through the development and implementation of compliance education and training courses
    • Coordinate external audits for ISO registration and respond to audit findings
    • Participate in problem solving and root cause analysis, along with implementing counter measures and/or facilitating and verification of corrective actions
    • Expected to operate independently, and held accountable to proactively fulfill tasks and achieve results within assigned timelines
    • Expected to understand strategic priorities developed by upper management and to respond to requests with appropriate urgency and with an organized approach
    • Monitor regulatory and industry trends/actions and report regularly to Quality Compliance management
    • Support internal audits by consultancy or participation

    Additional Duties and responsibilities

    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the management systems

     

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Minimal Qualifications  

    • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent experience, and demonstrated knowledge with 5+ years of relevant experience
    • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of ISO 9001:2015, or ISO 27001:2013, or other related standard
    • 1+ years supervisory experience

    Education

    Skills  

    • Knowledge of process planning and change management control
    • Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, or other related standard
    • Excellent project management, organizational skills required
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
    • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to work and learn quickly in a high-energy environment
    • Strong managerial/interpersonal/integrating/problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across a variety of workgroups in demanding/changing situations
    • Must have capability to review, analyze, summarize and interpret quality systems data, draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
    • Drive to engage positively with Business teams and make impactful contributions in a multi-cultural/national environment
    • Experience with dashboard software such as QlikSense or Tableau is helpful
