    Position Summary

     

    The Security Support Analyst will have strong end-user interaction and communication skills, the ability to support user credential management requests and take appropriate administrative action, either through the Security ticketing system, phone, and email communication as well as personal interaction. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as under direction or as part of a group.  The candidate reports directly to the Security Support Supervisor.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day administration of the security credential management system 
    • Management to resolution of security tickets and/or escalations for credential management
    • Assigning and taking ownership of related tasks / ticket requests
    • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs. Escalating to other internal and external teams as appropriate
    • Create and maintain user accounts, access, groups and secrets
    • Complying with all internal processes and procedures (ISO 27001, QMS 9000, and various related documentation)
    • Provide professional and courteous support to all internal personnel
    • Sharing knowledge with team colleagues
    • Able to work and support a regular shift pattern of out of hours support

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Education

    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related experience in the Information Technology field

     

    Experience  

    • 2-4 years of experience in an IT service desk or security administration type position
    • Prior experience of credential management or related tool(s)
    • Supporting an environment of at least 200+ employees
    • Working with a global team

      

    Skills  

    • Positive attitude, excellent work ethics, strong customer service
    • Good accurate records keeping
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office 2010/2013, MS Outlook & Exchange
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Good organizational and communication skills and ability to complete tasks with limited supervision

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • CompTia Security+ or equal certification
