    We actively seek an Associate Systems Engineer, PeopleSoft resident.  This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.

    Position Summary

     

    The Associate Systems Engineer, PeopleSoft, maintains PeopleSoft environments by monitoring system performance and troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving or escalating environment issues.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure PeopleSoft system stability by working with Agile teams (PeopleSoft developers, testers, and business analysts) as well as clients
    • Maintain PeopleSoft system and Rimini Street Automation Framework (AFW) Tools performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, troubleshooting environment and AFW tools issues, and escalating issues as needed
    • Assist in in the installation and implementation of AFW tools, as well as other relevant software, to PeopleSoft environments
    • Assist Agile teams by designing and implementing new and improved issue reporting tools and conducting training programs and providing orientation and support for the AFW tools
    • Assist Agile teams in accessing PeopleSoft environments as required
    • Assist PeopleSoft delivery team by running AFW tools to package updates for delivery as needed
    • Liaison between Agile teams and the Environments Team for resolving PeopleSoft environment issues
    • Assist in maintaining PeopleSoft client environment documentation
    • Monitor access information and security requirements
    • Manage and maintain client security tokens as needed
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
    • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Minimal Qualifications

     

    US Citizenship or Green Card Holder is required

     

    Education

    • Pursuing college degree in Computer Science, or related field

    Experience

    • This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a multi-task oriented, fast-paced corporate working environment

     Skills

    • Proficient in use of personal computer, including Windows Explorer, Internet, MS Word and Excel
    • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Software is a plus
    • Professional demeanor and attitude
    • Strong written and verbal skills
    • Effective organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
    • Ability to identify and recommend effective solutions to problems
