    We actively seek a Pre-Sales Engineer (internally referred to as Service Solution Architect) for our Salesforce practice.  This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the United States.

    Position Summary


    Rimini Street recently announced the launch of its new support services for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud products. Salesforce customers can now leverage Rimini Street's award winning, ultra-responsive support services to supplement and complement their core Salesforce provided maintenance program to help accelerate delivery of capabilities, optimize total operating costs and improve ROI. These new services will enable Salesforce customers to benefit from Rimini Street's proven 24x7x365 operational support with 15 minute guaranteed response for urgent issues, in addition to the Company's managed system administration services and configuration, customization and integration project services.


    We are seeking a pre-sales expert who will support the Rimini Street sales team to develop and close opportunities for Rimini Street's Salesforce services. You will also provide deep Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service cloud product knowledge to the sales team to assist in meeting monthly, quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for the Salesforce product line. You will develop sales strategies, assist with marketing campaigns and development of positioning documents for the Salesforce product line and produce and/or deliver customer specific sales and technical presentations. Additionally you will represent the company at major industry events, influence service offering direction and positioning and continue to develop and shape improved service offerings and additional value added services.


    The Salesforce SSA will work as an overall team with Sales Executives, Account Management, and Service Delivery organizations and contribute to the company’s continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership. (Oracle EBS, Oracle Technology, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, SAP, and other industry leading Enterprise Software Systems) 


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Provide deep Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud product knowledge to the sales team
    • Global responsibility.  Must be willing to support sales teams Globally.
    • Articulate the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to prospects and partners
    • Contribute to the company’s continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel)
    • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for Salesforce product line
    • Develop sales strategy and positioning documents for Salesforce product line
    • Produce and/or deliver customer specific presentations 

    Additional Duties and responsibilities

    • The successful candidate may be called upon from time to time to contribute to other company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the Salesforce product line
    • Travel outside of your geography in support of Salesforce initiatives




    Minimal Qualifications   



    • Anywhere in US.  Remote position. 


    • Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field


    • Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in one or more of the following: Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, Customer Success, Technology Solutions Development, Technical and/or Solutions Architecture with Salesforce.com.
    • Experience selling cloud professional services is preferred


    • Entrepreneurial spirit to help drive new Salesforce product launch
    • Strong experience in a “consultative selling” environment
    • Detailed knowledge of Salesforce and their ecosystem
    • Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation)
    • Background in Salesforce consulting sales and implementation experience
    • Ability to work independently as required based on prospect needs
    • Understanding of Salesforce licensing and Salesforce Success Plans
    • Salesforce product certifications are a plus (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant)
