    Position Summary


    Rimini Street is seeking an Enterprise Agile Coach with a proven track record of success.  The candidate will have extensive experience coaching and mentoring agile execution, working with all roles. The right candidate will be able to coach Scrum Masters, Agile Product Owners, Development Team members, and executives to leverage agile principles, practices, and frameworks. This individual may also coach agile program teams as needed. Will have experience coaching and mentoring agile to distributed teams. Will serve as a subject matter expert on scaling agile development, including the use of scaling frameworks; primarily the Scaled Agile framework. (SAFe - knowledge of other frame works is desirable.)  Embraces servant leadership and displays behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being agile.


    The right candidate will be a self-starter, experienced working remote, and willing to travel as needed.   Able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment, both individually, and in a group settings.



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Help teams create an environment that fosters transparency, learning, innovation, quality and speed
    • Help teams assess the overall health of their Agile practices and culture to identify opportunities to improve and provide coaching to improve 
    • Help teams understand and implement effective metrics on things that impact value driven delivery
    • Build, deliver and improve customized Agile training
    • Work with non-development teams to help drive agile transformation in those teams
    • Partner with other Agile coaches across the organization
    • Train and coach new development teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Managers in Agile values, principles, practices and the Scrum framework and Kanban principles
    • Responsible for the growth of new and existing Scrum Masters
    • Help identify organizational impediments to successful Agile transformation and work with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them
    • Organizes workshops that help promote Agile maturity across the organization
    • Coach teams and the organization to achieve self-organization team accountability 
    • Coach teams and the organization on how to identify and burn down technical debt 
    • Coach teams and the organization on how to bring disclosure and transparency to the business and grows business trust
    • Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships supporting agile product development
    • Remains informed about industry trends and best practices concerning Agile methodologies
    • Demonstrates participation in the Agile Community
    • A positive, collaborative attitude, with a desire to coach and mentor others via hands-on, apprenticeship model
    • Advances best practices for scaling agile frameworks



    • BS/BA degree required or equivalent experience

    • Remote, APAC:  Australia, New Zealand, Japan, S. Korea, Tailand, Singapore
    • This position is 100% Remote; some travel will be required


    • 5+ years prior experience as an Agile coach role helping teams efficiently deliver software
    • 5+ years of experience in a software development environment preferably involving cross-team dependencies
    • Experience creating and delivering Agile training
    • Experience working with Agile teams
    • Experience with 1 or more scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, DAD, Nexus)

    Required Qualifications

    • Certified Enterprise Coach, or equivalent
    • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
    • Certified Scrum Master

    Desired Qualifications

    • Scaled Agile Framework Consultant (SPC4), other scaled frameworks will be considered
    • Certified Scrum Product Owner
    • Addition Coaching Training / Certifications

    Note: Agile Certifications from Scrum Alliance, PMI, SAFe, or other Agile organizations will be considered



    • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
    • Demonstrates the Agile mindset and working knowledge of agile techniques including Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and Extreme Programming
    • Demonstrates knowledge of agile scaling patterns and frameworks
    • Experience with Agile training development and delivery
    • Strong collaboration, facilitation and conflict management
    • Experience with Agile Engineering Practices including Continuous Integration, AgileTest Driven Development, Pair Work, Automated Testing, Evolutionary Design. Understanding of code refactoring, simple design principles, and other eXtreme Programming (XP) practices 
    • Familiarity with the concept of Technical Debt
    • Atlassian tools – JIRA, Confluence
