    Position Summary

     

    Rimini Street is expanding our sales team to enable accelerated growth in response to prospects’ acceptance of our value proposition. The Director, Oracle Service Solution Architects, will manage a high performance group of globally deployed Oracle Solution Architect / Sales Engineers with deep expertise in Oracle EBS, Oracle DB, Fusion Middleware, Hyperion, Oracle ATG Web Commerce, Oracle Agile PLM and Oracle Retail supporting Rimini Street’s aggressive sales goals across the globe.

     

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in leading a high performance technical sales/overlay team promoting enterprise software and related services with a proven track record achieving sales quota in a company of annual revenues of at least $150M. Candidates will know how to build out the model required to win the technical argument in deals ranging in size from mid six figures through mid-seven figures. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and have experience supporting worldwide sales teams chartered with selling to new accounts. The leader will develop sales strategies and positioning documents for the company’s business product lines, influence product marketing and work with other technical teams to produce and deliver customer specific demonstrations and technical presentations. Additionally, the leader will represent the company at major industry events, influence service offering direction and positioning and continue to develop and shape improved service offerings and additional value added services.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    Grow, lead and manage all activities for our Oracle Services Solution Architect / Sales Engineer team in pursuit of and achieving sales attainment goals.

     

    • Recruit, train and develop existing staff while growing the team with top global talent
    • Take best practice from each solution architect and deploy at scale across the global team
    • Manage solution architect coverage model & sales territories ensuring alignment with business plan and maximizes sales effectiveness
    • Work with sales operations to design, deploy & administer compensation plans
    • Represent Rimini Street at National and Regional CIO and Analyst conferences
    • Guide prospects through the Rimini Street value proposition through a Solution Selling approach
    • Ensure that relevant technical sales activities are current and tracked in Salesforce.com
    • Work with cross-functional team leaders to prioritize solution architect deliverables
    • Develop and mature sales materials based on lessons learned from field work
    • Work with cross-functional team leaders to align solution architect strategy across the company
    • Partner with Sales teams to strategize how to sell into prospects and customers
    • Present technical presentations to prospects, customers, and company associates
    • Gather requirements and customer feedback for product management
    • Consult, design, and recommend service solutions to customers
    • Daily interaction with solution architects and account executives selling into new prospects and existing customers
    • Develop and improve processes & procedures to maximize efficiencies within the team and its touchpoints

     Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • We expect the Director, Oracle Service Solution Architects / Sales Engineers to travel as needed for sales opportunities
    • Reinforce and extend the unique and strong Rimini Street culture

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

     Location:

    • Remote, US

     Experience:

    • Previous experience in Management is required (5+ years), ideally in a Sales Consulting or Technical Sales environment
    • Strong understanding of Oracle applications and technology
    • Previous experience in Sales Consulting role would be beneficial
    • Regular overachievement of goals or targets
    • Proven track record in a B2B sales environment
