    Position Summary


    The role of the is Sr. Salesforce Admin to optimize the value of our client's Salesforce investments by designing comprehensive solutions based on provided business requirements using best fitting tools available in Salesforce ecosystem. The position has the responsibility for researching technologies, troubleshooting bugs, and augmenting the functionality of Salesforce. The role requires deep expertise in declarative (e.g. Formula Fields) & programmatic (e.g. Apex, VisualForce) approaches to Salesforce customization, usage of the AppExchange, proficiency in web technologies, up to date knowledge of evolving Salesforce ecosystem, and solid understanding of CRM concepts.   Outstanding communication is required as solution architecture decisions must be explained.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Serve as a Trusted Advisor, drive conversations with our customers’ Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process, and Application Governance
    • Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customer’s infrastructure
    • Solve complex issues using systematic troubleshooting methodologies combined with expert knowledge of Salesforce applications
    • Work closely with end users to Assess Business Requirements, Support Change, and Deliver Consistently High Quality Customer Experience
    • Provide Hands-On Technical Guidance to Administrators and Developers for creation of application fixes for critical issues
    • Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners
    • Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to extend field experience to different geographies
    • Proactively research, present and make recommendations regarding new features made available with each Salesforce release
    • Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency and reporting
    • Be a pro-active contributor , flexibe to participate within a 24x7x365 global support organization, this will require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitoring email regularly outside standard business hours




    U.S Citizenship or Greencard Holder is Required

    • Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.


    Minimal Qualifications

    • 5+ years of demonstrated techno-funtional skills and hands on Admin experience in Salesforce
    • Excellent Communication and Troubleshooting Skills
    • Expert in Declarative (Point and Click Configuration) and Programmatic (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, etc...) Customization of Salesforce
    • Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect
    • Experience in integrating applications such as SAP with Salesforce


    Required Experience

    • Minimum 10+ years techno-funcitional experience with CRM applications 
    •  5+ years of hands-on Admin experience with Salesforce and 2+ years working with Salesforce deployments
    • Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and CRM business concepts
    • Experience with Post Production Managed Services and Support
    • 2+ Years of Experience in DevOps Environment



    • Expertise in building end to end solutions for Salesforce that encompass integration, authentication mechanisms, security requirements, scalable performance, and available products in CRM ecosystem
    • Ability to articulate design considerations of proposed architecture solution with detailed analysis of pros and cons
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written. Ability to communicate at business level with stakeholders and technical level with developers
    • Expertise in Development with Apex Including Classes, Methods, Controllers, and Triggers
    • Expertise in Development with VisualForce Pages and Components
    • Expertise with Usage of APIs to Integrate Salesforce With Other Data Sources
    • Deep knowledge of Declarative Approaches to SFDC customization methodologies including Custom Objects, Relationships, Formulas, Validation Rules, and Process Automation
    • Expertise in Customization of SalesForce1 Mobile App
    • Familiarity in Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, XML, JSON, REST, SOA, HTML, DHTML, and other web technologies
    • Ability to Leverage AppExchange to Find Best Suited Solutions for Business Requirements
    • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
    • Strong knowledge of key application functionality, objects and relationships
    • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
    • Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations
    • The ability to work effectively from a home based office in a virtual environment


    Additional Desired Qualifications

    •  Platform Developer II Certification
    • Expertise is iPaas Products (Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Informatica, etc…)
    • Lightning Development Experience
    • A consulting background with experience in large scale implementations of Salesforce while not mandatory, is very desirable
