    Position Summary

    The Service Solution Architect, Oracle Applications and Technology will support the Rimini Street sales team to develop and close opportunities for Oracle Applications and Technology third party maintenance services as well as articulate the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to prospects and partners. You will also provide deep Oracle Applications and Technology product knowledge to the sales team to assist in meeting quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for the Oracle Applications and Technology product line. You will develop sales strategies and positioning documents for the Oracle Application and Technology product line and produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations and technical presentations.

     

    Additionally you will represent the company at major industry events, influence service offering direction and positioning and continue to develop and shape improved service offerings and additional value added services.

     

    The Service Solution Architect, Oracle Applications and Technology will work as an overall team with Account Management and Service Delivery organizations and contribute to the company’s continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership. (PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel, and other industry leading ERP Systems).

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the company’s continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership (SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel)
    • Articulate the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to prospects and partners
    • Provide deep Oracle Technology product knowledge to the sales team
    • Meet quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for Oracle Technology and Applications product line
    • Develop sales strategy and positioning documents for Oracle Technology and Applications product line
    • Produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations and technical presentations

     

    Additional Duties and Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate may be called upon from time to time to contribute to other company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the Oracle OT and Applications product lines
    • Travel outside of your geography in support of Oracle Technology initiatives

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Location

    • Remote - Singapore

     

    Education

    • Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

     

    Experience

    • 10 years or equivalent experience in a Sales Engineering Role or Product Line Specialist Role or Product Sales Rep promoting Oracle Applications and the Oracle Technology ecosystem, supporting a Geographic or Industry Focused Sales Organization

     

    Skills

    • Understanding of Oracle Technology licensing issues and challenges
    • Strong speaking skills (telephone, onsite, conference or seminar)
    • Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required
    • Experience with CRM systems, especially SalesForce.com

     

    Minimal Qualifications

    • Strong experience in a “consultative selling” environment
    • Detailed knowledge of Oracle Technology and Oracle Technology related technologies including Oracle Database, Fusion, and Middleware
    • Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation)
    • Background in Oracle consulting sales and implementation experience
    • Understanding of Oracle Applications and Technology ecosystem
    • Ability to work independently as required based on prospect needs
    • Experience of working as a pre-sales consultant or overlay sales rep in multinational enterprises and system integrator prospect companies
