    Position Summary
    The SSA will act as a trusted advisor and partner with the Rimini Street sales team to develop and close opportunities for SAP third party maintenance services as well as articulate the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to prospects and partners. You will also provide deep SAP product knowledge to the sales team to assist in meeting quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for the SAP product line. You will develop sales strategies and positioning documents for the SAP product line and produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations and technical presentations. Additionally you will represent the company at major industry events, influence service offering direction and positioning and continue to develop and shape improved service offerings and additional value added services.


     


    The SSA will work as an overall team with Account Management and Service Delivery organizations and contribute to the company’s continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership (PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel, Oracle E-Business and other industry leading ERP Systems).
     
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities



    • Contribute to the company’s continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership (Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards)

    • Articulate the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to prospects and partners with passion, confidence, clarity, and conciseness

    • Provide deep SAP product knowledge to the sales team

    • Demonstrate an ability to handle objections in a positive manner

    • Demonstrate an ability to sell while also developing trust in the prospect

    • Meet quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for SAP product line

    • Develop sales strategy and positioning documents for SAP product line

    • Produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations and technical presentations


     


    Additional Duties & Responsibilities 



    • The successful candidate may be called upon from time to time to contribute to other company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the SAP product line

    • Travel outside of your geography in support of SAP product line initiatives

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Minimal Qualifications


     


    Location



    • Singapore


    Education



    • Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent European credentials


    Experience



    • 10 years or equivalent experience in a Sales Engineering, Services Solutions Architect, PreSales, Overlay Sales Role or Product Line Specialist Role promoting the SAP product line and ecosystem


    Skills



    • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats, with a wide range of people, including clients and external organisations

    • Strong experience in a “consultative selling” environment

    • Detailed knowledge of SAP and in particular the interoperability of the various components of the SAP portfolio

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

    • Background in SAP consulting sales and implementation experience

    • Understanding of SAP ecosystem including Oracle Database and other elements of the Technology stack supporting SAP

    • Ability to work independently as required based on prospect needs

    • Current Understanding of SAP software licensing issues and challenges

    • Background in development including some ABAP beneficial
