    We actively seek a Pre-Sales Consultant, Oracle Products & Services. This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in Australia OR New Zealand.


    Position Summary:

    This role is primarily responsible for supporting the sales activities across the ANZ region, with some support being required within the broader APAC region. In this role, you will be directly engaged in Oracle sales opportunities, actively participating in customer meetings and working closely with our Senior Account Executives to respond to our customers’ needs and challenges. The Pre-Sales Consultant is required to articulate the Rimini Street value proposition and services offering and to illustrate the benefits delivered to our clients in ANZ and globally.


    The Pre-Sales role also acts as the primary conduit to the internal Delivery and Strategic Services teams. As a Pre-Sales Consultant for Oracle, you will leverage your existing functional knowledge in working with one or more Oracle products within our organization. Using this experience, you would learn how to articulate the strategy and direction for all Oracle products that is supported by Rimini Street.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Working with the Sales Executives to develop and deliver customer specific presentations and other relevant collaterals
    • Participating in customer engagements along with the Sales Executives, either in-person or remotely
    • Understanding the customer needs and working with the internal Rimini Street teams and Partners to response to these requirements and/or challenges
    • Scoping the support services that will be delivered by Rimini Street
    • Articulating the Rimini Street value proposition, as well as our services model
    • Working with the Marketing and Strategy teams to help develop the sales strategy and positioning documents for the Oracle product line
    • Provide a strong level of understanding for the Oracle suite of products, along with their road-map, through working with internal product experts


    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the other company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the Oracle product lines.
    • Some travel outside your geography in support of global initiatives



    • Remote - Australia (near major metropolitan airport)


    • Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field


    • 10 years or equivalent experience in a Sales Engineering Role or Product Line Specialist Role or Product Sales Rep promoting Oracle Appliocations and Technology ecosystem, supporting a Geographic or Industry Focused Sales Organization

    Minimal Qualifications   

    • Strong experience in a “consultative selling” environment
    • Detailed knowledge of Oracle solutions including Applicaitons and Technology
    • Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation)
    • Background in consulting sales and implementation experience
    • Understanding of Oracle E-Business ecosystem
    • Ability to work independently as required based on prospect needs
    • Experience of working as a pre-sales consultant or overlay sales rep in multinational enterprises and system integrator prospect companies



    • Understanding of Oracle licensing issues and challenges
    • Strong speaking skills (telephone, onsite, conference or seminar)
    • Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required
    • Experience with CRM systems, especially SalesForce.com
