    We actively seek a Competitive Intelligence Analyst.  This role will be based in any major city in the U.S., ideally in Pleasanton, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, Chicago, Illinois, Dallas or Austin, Texas locations.

    Position Summary 

    The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be a key member of our new and growing Competitive Intelligence team that oversees all of Rimini Street’s market and competitive strategy and initiatives.

    As a member of the competitive intelligence team reporting to the Director, Competitive Intelligence, you will work closely with Product Marketing/Product Management teams to develop and deliver actionable insights presented through internal and external presentations, sales tools and collateral to enable compelling competitive positioning and drive sales effectiveness.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Gather, analyze, and synthesize information focusing on both existing and emerging competitive landscapes
    • Brief product management and marketing teams on competitor offerings including messaging and positioning tactics and strategies
    • Develop concise and actionable presentations and sales tools (battle cards, product analyses, competitive responses, etc.) distilling competitive research and intelligence
    • Stay current on market/competitor trends and quickly communicate to key stakeholders within product, sales and marketing teams
    • Define and report on competitive metrics and analyst reports
    • Help foster internal competitive information sharing

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related tech field; MBA preferred

    Location

    • Any major city in the US, ideally Pleasanton, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, Chicago, Illinois, Dallas or Austin, Texas

    Experience

    • 5+ years of experience product marketing, competitive/market research or tech consulting
    • Ability to dissect complex issues, analyze data, and draw strategic insights to inform decisions
    • Passion for understanding what makes a technology compelling
    • Excellent written communication and persuasion skills
    • Proactive, inquisitive, creative, and self-motivated
