    Position Summary

     

    The VP, Business Solutions Americas is a hands-on leadership role responsible for marrying in-depth product expertise with the latest tax and regulatory changes to produce system impact specifications and test strategies for Development & QA.  As Vice President , you will follow each tax and regulatory change from discovery through successful translation into an application update. This role is vital in providing high quality deliverables to our clients and keeping their mission-critical enterprise applications in compliance.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Management of all PeopleSoft, SAP, EBS & JDE deliverables for the North America region
    • Manage multiple teams/Scrums of Product Owners/Business/Functional Analysts and Tax and Regulatory scoping specialists
    • Supplement the team with additional resources as needed to ensure timely delivery of updates.
    • Provide in-depth functional knowledge of either PSFT, SAP, EBS or JDE applications across multiple releases
    • Supply Financials, Taxation & Payroll/HR subject matter expert
    • Ensure total product compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations through the analysis of each tax and legislative change and production of Change Memos, Business Analysis & Functional specifications
    • Organization and communication of such information, clearly disclosing the details needed for product specialists and subscribing clients to make necessary system changes
    • Work with the GPD management team: Development, Quality Assurance, PMO, Documentation,  as well as our total client base, ensuring accurate dissemination of information relating to North American legislative changes and successful translation into updates for each supported product line
    • Assist the PMO, Development and QA Management Team with planning activities related to product specific Tax & Regulatory updates (i.e.delivery scheduling, Agile framework, planning and tracking/bring down etc.)
    • Work closely with the scrums to ensure stories cover all client legislative requirements
    • Work with an Agile Framework and interacting with team members as a servant leader.
    • Communicate effectively across various teams
    • Be committed to excellence and high quality standards

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Education

    • Undergraduate degree in Administration, Accounting, Economy or Bachelor of Law

    Location

    • Remote, US

     

    Experience

    • 10+ years senior level leadership experience with either PSFT, SAP, EBS or JDE AsiaPac  localizations, Financials and/or HR/Payroll
    • In depth understanding of tax policies and procedures, along with a solid understanding of related compliance issues, Financials and/or HR/Payroll
    • A track record of successful roles in several Enterprise Application projects (including full development and full QA lifecycle processes)
    • Ability to work in a matrix environment, working with managers of the other SDLC functions to ensure a cohesive project plan is created and maintained for each and every deliverable
    • Be able to manage demanding situations and work through any client escalations in a calm and professional manner

     

    Skills

    • Experience managing the Product Owner / Business Analysis function
    • Proficient in developing Agile Stories from regulatory and tax data
    • Experience in the support of global PSFT, SAP, EBS or JDE operations
    • Strong analytical and product management skills
    • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with other groups within the delivery organization

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Fluency in second language
