    Position Summary

     

    The Associate Desktop Analyst position is an entry-level desktop support function, responsible for providing end-user support via email, telephone or IT tickets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of IT Workforce Services.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for imaging, deploying and supporting Windows 7, 10 workstations
    • Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts, access, and groups
    • Set up workstation areas, including routers, monitors, printers, and VoIP equipment
    • Troubleshooting all workstation related software including but not limited to: the operating system, web browsers, Microsoft Office 2016, Teams, Skype for Business, Pulse Secure VPN, MozyPro, Blue Coat, and OneDrive
    • Network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, NIC, Switch, etc.)
    • Management of assigned projects and tasks
    • Assigning and taking ownership of IT Ticket Requests
    • Onboarding and offboarding personnel (creating/disabling accounts, providing/revoking access, etc.)
    • Provide telecom support for various devices (iPhones, Androids, and Mitel)
    • Administering internal software solutions such as MozyPro, Citrix ShareFile, LogMeIn GoToMeeting, Skype for Business, Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Office 365
    • Complying with all internal processes and procedures (ISO 27001, QMS 9000, and various related documentation)
    • Communicating with executive and upper level management as needed
    • Provide professional and courteous support to all internal personnel

    Additional Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assisting with hardware & software procurement and inventory
    • Responsible for auditing system and/or user information as requested
    • Training other IT personnel or staff as requested
    • Covering other IT members responsibilities as requested

    Qualifications/Skills/Experience

    Minimal Qualifications

     

    Education

    • High School Graduate
    • Formal IT training or college-level computer science course completion preferred

    Experience

    • Previous experience working in a corporate environment preferred
    • Excellent customer support skills

    Skills

    • Positive attitude, excellent work ethics, strong customer service and exceptional troubleshooting skills
    • Working knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems
    • Knowledge of Windows networks, firewalls, and Remote Access
    • Familiarity of MS Office 2016, Outlook and Office 365
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and capacity to creatively solve problems are essential
    • Good organizational and communication skills and ability to complete tasks with limited supervision

    Desired Qualifications

    • Relevant IT certifications preferred
