We actively seek a Senior Account Executive for our Salesforce practice. This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the United States.

Position Summary

 

In 2018, Rimini Street announced the launch of its Application Management Services (AMS) for Salesforce, providing services for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud products. Salesforce customers can now leverage Rimini Street's award-winning, ultra-responsive services model to achieve greater value from their Salesforce investment, while simplifying and reducing costs of ongoing operations and critical production support.  These services enable Salesforce customers to benefit from Rimini Street's proven 24x7x365 operational support with 15 minute guaranteed response for urgent issues and critical production support items.  Additionally, Salesforce customers benefit from tactical and strategic components of our AMS offering that includes extensive Salesforce Configuration, User Administration, and Proactive Services such as Best Practice Recommendations, Strategies to Increase User Adoption, and Implementing Release Notes.

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to sell our Application Management Services for Salesforce.  The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of sales excellence, ability to meet/exceed quotas, and taking business to the next level. Must be hungry and have a passion for winning. We need someone that can be very hands-on, do whatever it takes to build revenue, and be a strategic thinker with the ability to create long-term sales plans and execute on them for our prospects.


The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience selling solutions or services at Salesforce or in the Salesforce ecosystem (eg. System Integrator) and 5-10 years total sales experience.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building sales pipeline in defined territory
  • Meet/Exceed quarterly quota targets
  • Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, working with numerous internal teams to coordinate appropriate resources, all the way through closing the deal
  • Manage and follow up on qualified leads
  • Execute on Rimini Street sales methodology
  • Update and track all activities in Salesforce
  • Travel expectations – 25% to 35%


Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Location

  • Remote position based anywhere in the United States

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required 

Experience

  • 5+ years experience selling solutions or services in the Salesforce ecosystem and 5-10 years total sales experience
  • Command knowledge of the enterprise software industry
  • Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement
  • Experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment

Skills

  •  Engage with a consultative sales approach
  •  Must be articulate with strong writing and presentation skills
  •  Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  •  Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities
  •  Very strong work ethic with “can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out” attitude
  •  Ability to leverage supporting team of Sales Engineers, Lead Generation, and Marketing

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience selling for major SaaS software vendors (e.g. Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow) or competed against them in complex selling situations while selling for smaller start-up companies
